Figaredos Italian Restaurant
Santiago Figaredo and his wife recently relocated their Italian restaurant from Acapulco, Mexico to Abingdon, Virginia. Santiago opened his restaurant in May and needed to get the word out that his restaurant, Figaredo's, was open for business in Abingdon, Virginia. We created his website to showcase his entrees as well as a Google Places Listing for him so that his restaurant comes up on Google Maps when visitors use Google to find local eats.
Most restaurants don't need a multipage website, so we created this site with a javascript slider. There is only one page to load, but when you click on the items in the main navigation menu, the new mini-page slides into view.
Since restaurants get new visitors by tempting their tastebuds, we created a menu section and gallery that show zoomed in views of the food when clicked on.
By setting up a Google Places Page for Figaredos.com, we ensure that Santiago's restaurant comes up on Google searches for restaurants in Abingdon and Bristol, Virginia.
Best of all for Santiago, we gave him the $50/month plan for an information site, so he didn't have to pony up a couple of thousand dollars to get his shiny new website online.
